Cathedral Windows by Hand & Machine Saturday 23rd September £35.00
Cathedral Windows always looks more difficult than it looks.
In this workshop you will learn how do to Cathedral Windows by hand and by using your sewing machine. In the morning you will make a pincushion by hand and in the afternoon you will make a cushion front with your sewing machine.
The workshop runs from 10am till 4pm. Tea and Coffee will be provided but you must take your own packed lunch.

Thread Catchers & Fabric Boxes Saturday 30th September £35.00
In this one day workshop we will be making Thread Catchers & Fabric Boxes.
Thread Catchers are little fabric boxes that catch all the threads and scraps that normally fall on our workshop floors. The thread catcher boxes could also be used for many other ideas. Such as, containers for your office supplies, napkins, birthday or Christmas present, holding your reels of thread. Many ideas are possible. These are great for using up all your scraps.
In your fabric boxes you can have your fat quarters all in order, or different colours of your fabric. Again these boxes have endless possibilities. Both boxes offer great practice on free motion quilting.
You will need a sewing machine (and you manual), with a walking foot and a free motion foot. Rotary cutter and ruler.
The workshop runs from 10am till 4pm. Tea and Coffee will be provided but you must take a packed lunch.

Foundation Piecing Saturday 4th November £35.00
Come and learn the technique of Foundation paper piecing (FPP).
The basic idea of FPP is printing your block pattern onto a piece of paper. Then you sew your fabric pieces to the wrong side of the paper, using the lines on the right side of the paper for guidance. The sewing is precise and accurate. When the sewing is done, you tear away the paper.
For the workshop you will need your sewing machine (and manual), scraps of fabric.
The workshop runs from 10am till 4 pm. Tea and coffee will be provide but you will need a packed lunch..

Origami Christmas Tree & Christmas Wreath
Saturday 18th November £35.00
On this one day workshop you will make this Christmas tree which is 13" high by 10" wide, and also a Christmas wreath, which is about
6" x 6".
You will need your sewing machine (and manual).
Please note that there will be hand sewing involved.
